Here's what we are dealing with folks! Our warehouse and the view from our office.
If you had an order slated to ship today it will not be sent out.
The roads are impassable. Fedex can't get to us. We thought we could figure out how to get them to the Fedex airport hub in St. Louis but even if we did Fedex is telling us they will probably not move from there. But let's say they did...the next thing that would happen is that they would get stuck in Memphis or Indianapolis (the hubs they go to before they get to you). And let's say by a miracle they get through to the local station? Well, so many of you are also in the middle of this insanity of a weather storm that the boxes wouldn't make it the last mile. In which case you would be sad, we would be sad (and maybe bankrupt) and on and on. You know - all the things, the sad things.

So, for safety reasons (I can't, in good conscience send a truck on the road in these conditions). And for practical reasons (see above) we are making a new plan.
The plan is that we'll ship your box Monday, we will throw in a nice soup recipe for you and in the meantime we will be on standby for any questions or concerns.
Please check your email for more information.
And check your freezer for anything you need help cooking. We probably have a recipe if you need it. Perfect time to clean out the freezer. (Don't have power? Bust out the cast iron for the fireplace or the grill).
And our southern folks- stay warm and safe. We're thinking of you.
